Long Time Coming

My apologies for staying silent! Things seemed to be going along so well, I figured me writing all the time could only slow it down! The fact that I have been quiet doesn't mean I haven't been busy. So several updates here goes.
We are starting production on the Isometric Rolls now! I figure why not! We hit our goal, I have a fair idea of how many rolls I will need, and I will need some extras for the upcoming conventions. So - the presses are rolling!
The Singles will be kicking off soon too. Those go quite quickly - they will ship at the same time as the rolls.
I am currently scouring the globe for the best vinyl mats. The samples I have received so far are ok, but not the thickness or smoothness that I would want. The search continues. The vinyl mat you receive will be of the highest quality and erasability. Only the best.
Final update, because of the number of options, the number of backers, and all the add-ons available I am going to run the survey through Backerkit. It will cost me a bit more, but it will help ensure that you receive the correct items, options, and add-ons. Totally worth it!
We are getting close to that magical point when the Kickstarter campaign countdown switches from days to hours. It makes my heart beat a little faster and I don't know why! So, I will ask again, please tell a friend about this campaign.
Thank you for your support!

370 Backers! Add Ons!

OK! Good news we hit 370 backers (the most for any Gaming Paper Kickstarter ever) AND I put the mats in the add-ons. I went with the big mats 34.5"x48", one side Isometric and one side 1" grid.
Now, my heartfelt plea! When I set my goal at $1000 I had no idea that so many people would request mats, no idea that this Kickstarter would be popular, and I had no idea I would even consider making Isometric mats a part of it.
I had two options, add mats to this Kickstarter and risk not making enough to cover the cost or waiting until this Kickstarter was complete and starting a new one for the mats and tiles (tiles may still be coming). We decided to make it all one big one and cross our fingers.
That all being said (and all being totally my fault and NOT at all your fault) I need to ask for your help. Shout about it. Tell everyone about the Kickstarter and especially tell them all about these GLORIOUS MATS! You will be doing me, my company, and my family a HUGE favor.
Thank you again for the support. You guys rock and you make me smile every day. Jumped to 371 backers while typing <smile>.

Hello! I have decided to take the family to Gameholecon for the weekend. I will be out of touch a bit for the next couple days.
Good news is I am bringing 16 rolls of isometric paper! I want to make it available to backers first, so if your are in Madison, WI and atteending the con let me know! I will get you a roll.
Have a great weekend

First 24 hours are behind us!

Kickstarter sends out an email when a campaign hits 100 backers. They jokingly say, "rent two buses and get your backers together for a pizza party". Gaming Paper has had eleven successful campaigns and I have only seen the 100 backers email a handful of times.
I am totally humbled and honored that you allowed me to see that message on the campaign's very first day! On top of that, you helped raise over $3000 in twenty-four hours (another record breaker for Gaming Paper).
Thank you so much.

Whirlwind! This campaign and all of you have exceeded my expectations.
As I write this we are over 5x our goal and there are 185 backers!
I owe all of you a huge thank you. My plan was to send a short personal note to each backer...I am falling woefully behind!
Now on to some housekeeping. There have been several requests of tiles or mats with the isometric pattern. Can I get a show of hands for people in the tiles camp and the mat camp? So please respond to this post with "nope", "mat", "tiles", or "both" and I will tally the votes.
I expect the tiles will be 8.5"x11" (same size as a D&D book) for easy shipping and transport. Connect to one another and probably come 4 to a pack. Come in around $15.00 a set. Double sided.
The mats would be 36x48 and run around $35. Double sided.
Let me know what you think. These could end up as stretch goal add-ons. Of course, they would be a later delivery date - June 2017.
